PUBLISHING
I'm the author of 75-plus books published in Canada and the United States. They include a novel, four volumes of short stories, and a picture book. I've also edited hundreds of books for major Canadian and American publishers. Among publishers for whom I've written and/or edited are McClelland & Stewart, HarperCollins, Key Porter, Nimbus, Nelson, Pearson, and Prentice Hall. For titles, please see the links at the top of this page.
Besides writing and editing books, I've written stories, articles, and reviews for periodicals including Canadian West, Alive Magazine (health and nutrition), Scarlet & Gold (RCMP annual), Faith Today, MB Herald, and Fellowship LINK.
I began my publishing career with the magazine The Canadian Chartered Accountant. Then I spent eight years working for book publisher Science Research Associates. There I did everything from editing and acquisitions to costing, scheduling, art direction, and production - as well as writing stories and articles for publication by SRA.
For a number of years now, I've been self-employed as an author, editor, and publishing consultant. I belong to several writers' associations including The Writers View, The Writers Union of Canada, American Christian Fiction Writers, Oregon Christian Writers, and The Word Guild.
